Warranty Policy

Peripherals

Coverage

Unless a product page or invoice states otherwise, eligible peripherals may carry up to a 1-year warranty. A full unit replacement generally applies only where the item cannot reasonably be repaired; if repair is possible, the faulty part or component may be replaced instead.

Processing time

A standard warranty resolution target is approximately 7–12 working days, depending on diagnosis, service-center response, parts, and replacement stock.

Submission requirements

  • Submit the product with its original box/packaging where required.
  • The serial number and identifying labels must remain visible and undamaged.
  • The customer is responsible for delivering the item to the designated service location unless another arrangement is explicitly offered.

Not covered

  • Physical damage, cracks, dents, broken parts, liquid damage, burn marks, corrosion, or insect damage.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, modification, improper voltage, unauthorized repair, or improper handling.
  • Products submitted in excessively dirty or unhygienic condition where safe diagnosis is not possible.
  • Missing, altered, or unreadable serial numbers or warranty labels.
  • Wireless interference or connectivity problems caused by the user’s environment. Customers should test another PC/port, preferably USB 2.0 where applicable, and test a wired connection before submitting a wireless tracking/disconnection claim.

Monitors

Warranty duration

Monitor warranty duration follows the invoice and the applicable brand/distributor policy. Certain monitor brands may carry up to a 36-month warranty when stated on the invoice/product listing.

DOA and functional issues

A confirmed manufacturing defect reported shortly after delivery may qualify for replacement subject to the brand’s DOA period and stock availability. Common covered faults can include no power, unstable signal, random shutdown, defective ports, OSD/button malfunction, or qualifying panel defects.

Monitor exclusions

Accidental damage, cracked panels, liquid damage, unstable voltage damage, unauthorized repairs or firmware modification, cosmetic marks that do not affect operation, and image retention caused by unsuitable long-term static-content use are normally excluded.

Pixel and panel rules

Pixel-defect acceptance criteria vary by brand and model. The specific brand/distributor panel policy takes priority, so customers should confirm the applicable threshold before purchase.

Claim preparation

Back up any settings or data where relevant, remove unrelated accessories, keep the invoice, and document the issue clearly with photos or video. Detox Tech BD may need to reproduce the fault before a claim can proceed.
